United Classical (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
This policy (together with our Terms of Use and any other documents referred to in it) explains how we collect, use, store and safeguard any personal data you provide to us or that we collect from you. Please read it carefully to understand our practices and your rights.
1. Our legal basis
We comply with:
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”);
The Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural individuals with regard to the processing of personal data; and
All other relevant Belgian legislation and Royal Decrees that implement or supplement the GDPR.

2. Information we may collect from you
We may collect and process the following categories of data:
Information you give us by completing forms on www.unitedclassical.com (the “Site”), including when you:
register for an account;
subscribe to newsletters or other services;
post material;
request information or customer support;
enter a competition or promotion; or
report a problem with the Site.
All such data is stored on secure servers.
Records of correspondence if you contact us.
Survey responses that you optionally provide for research purposes.
Transaction details relating to orders placed through the Site.
Technical data about your visits, including IP address, browser type, operating system, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, and the resources you access. (See our Cookie Policy for more detail.)
3. IP addresses & cookies
We use Google Analytics and similar tools to collect aggregate statistics such as page-views, clicks and broad geographic breakdowns. These statistics do not identify you personally.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device to help us:
estimate audience size and usage patterns;
store your preferences and personalize content;
speed up searches; and
Recognize you on each return visit.
You can block cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may limit Site functionality. Our Site does not serve personalized (behavioral) advertising. Third-party partners may set their own cookies; we have no control over those.
4. Where we store your data
All personal data are held on secure servers within the European Economic Area (EEA) unless relocation outside the EEA is strictly necessary for service delivery (e.g., cloud back-ups). Whenever data are transferred outside the EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection through:
an adequacy decision of the European Commission, or
Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, together with supplementary technical and organizational protections.
Any payment transaction is encrypted via industry-standard SSL/TLS. Where you create a password for the Site, you are responsible for keeping it confidential.
No internet transmission is completely secure, and you transmit data at your own risk. Once we receive your data, we apply strict procedures and technical measures to prevent unauthorised access.
5. How we use your information
We process personal data to:
display content in the most effective manner for you and your device;
provide products, services or information that you request, or that we believe may interest you (where you have consented to such communications);
fulfil our contractual obligations;
enable interactive features you choose to use; and
notify you of changes to our services or policies.
United Classical never sells your personal data to third parties.
We may contact you by email about similar goods or services that may interest you. You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing privacy@unitedclassical.com.
6. Disclosure of your information
We may share personal data:
with subsidiaries or affiliated organisations, as defined in Book 2 of the Belgian Companies and Associations Code (Wetboek van Vennootschappen en Verenigingen, WVV), where such sharing supports legitimate business purposes consistent with this policy;
with a prospective purchaser or seller if we buy or sell any business or assets;
if United Classical or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party—in which case customer data will be one of the transferred assets; or
if required to do so by law, court order or governmental authority, or to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the rights, property or safety of United Classical, our users or others (including exchanging information with competent authorities for fraud-prevention or credit-risk reduction).

Our Site may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review the privacy policy of any site you visit via external links.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR and Belgian law you have, among others, the right to:
access your personal data;
rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
erase data (“right to be forgotten”) where legally permissible;
restrict or object to processing;
data portability; and
withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

9. Access requests
You may request confirmation of whether we hold personal data about you and, if so, receive a copy (Art. 15 GDPR). Send requests to privacy@unitedclassical.com. We may require proof of identity and may charge a reasonable administrative fee for additional copies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any future changes will be posted on this page and, where material, notified to you by email.
